Electromagnetic fields are increasingly present in our living environment and practitioners are often exposed to unknown signals in the working environment. For this reason, RF signals are of increasing concern and raise questions about the possible harmful effects of these fields on health.
As part of its public health charter and in response to growing concern, the World Health Organization (WHO) launched the International Project on Electromagnetic Fields in 1996. This project aims to assess the health and environmental effects caused by static or variable electric and magnetic fields in the frequency range 0 to 300 GHz.
